Mill Grade Wire Cloth is a specific category of select wire meshes that are most often used in sifting applications. Mill Grade Wire Mesh has diameter wires thinner than standard or market grade, but thicker than tensile bolting mesh. Mill grade wire mesh typically consists of a plain weaving technology. This type of wire cloth occupies an important niche between market grade and bolting grade in terms of wire thickness, open area, and precision. It combines higher accuracy in mesh openings with structural integrity, making it ideal for tasks where consistent particle separation is crucial.

Application – All service conditions should be considered when selecting wire cloth – temperature, environment, and other processing conditions often play a key role in material selection and usually influence the material needed.

Mesh Count – Please advise mesh count, or if not know, the particle size you want the mesh to pass or retain.

Wire Diameter – if known, please advise the wire diameter requested.

Material – Please specify the type of material you require:

Quantity

  • Roll Goods – Wire Cloth is available in any roll width – 36”, 40”, 48” and 60” are considered standard widths. Custom roll widths are available! A standard roll length is 100l/f. We will cut a standard roll to the length required.
  • Cut Pieces – Please advise the length and width of the cut piece and the quantity required. Let us know if you want quantity price breaks as well.
